John Niederhauser

While visiting New Zealand in May 2019, John Niederhauser was inspired by a piece of resin artwork he saw at an art show in a small town on the South Island. Since then, he has been creating / working in resin. He finds it a very interesting and unpredictable medium. Every piece provides a challenge, since you never really know what the outcome will be.

John’s artwork pieces can be found here on this website, or by contacting the artist directly. Gallery display in Washington, DC is under development. Explore the JSN Design Art website in order to view all current collections, and find out when new pieces are created.

Story of An Artist

I believe in channelling my creative urges in order to produce unique artwork in Washington DC. The inspiration for my work is born out of a combination of my growing up in Mexico, an interest in color and an attraction to elements appearance in nature. The world is truly an endless colorful spectrum! My training and experience as a visual artist in lighting design for theatre, translates into my perspective as a resin artist.

Art is how I battle against stress in the world around me. It helps me relax and explore the ways color and resin combine for new and unexpected results in color.
